Wednesday 22 April 2015 from 4:30pm to 6pm.
Venue: University of Westminster, 309 Regent Street, W1B 2UW London, United Kingdom.
This event will present and discuss the results from new RICS Research Trust funded research on the future of low and zero carbon homes. Dr Dan Greenwood from the University of Westminster and Dr Alina Congreve from Hertfordshire will give a pre-election presentation of their findings. Through a series of in-depth case studies and interviews with national stakeholders, the project has analysed the challenges, tensions and opportunities for the housing sector following significant policy changes. This work will inform debate across the sector about the role of compulsory and voluntary codes and standards and the main drivers for innovation in the future. It will be of interest to those involved in housing policy and practice including policy makers, designers, developers, assessors and other built environment professionals.
